Seriously. Who embalms someone in something delicious? Bad plan.

Well, among those dummies was Alexander the Great, who ordered that his body be embalmed in honey. There were a number of cultures that were accustomed to doing this, too (including those crazy Egyptians!). Supposedly, one of the reasons listed for doing this was the belief that the dead still had to eat. Creepy, right? Another reason given was that the honey represented how sweet death was. Whoever came up with that needed a hobby in a big way.
